Just watched the newest Legend of Korra episode

What the heck just happened! That shit was intense! Korra was kicking ass but now I’m wondering what is going to happen!!!

AND WHAT DO THE VISIONS MEAN?!?!

So I finished up watching The Wiz…

It was interesting. I can tell why at times it was a box office failure, but I’ll admit, it was pretty groovy at times. The Mowtown groove was definitely something different hearing in a musical. I think the one thing I had a ….not necessarily had a problem with, just that caught my mind, was how awkwardly dark the story was at times. It was suggestive, yet inspirational at the same time. And the Cowardly Lion was suicidal…but that’s Broadway for you!

I’ll definitely say it’s worth a watch once.

Just got contacted from one of the trumpet players in my quintet and he asked if he talked to his old high school director, if could do low brass tech at his school. I’ve never done low brass tech for a school, besides being low brass section leader for two years at my school. He said pay is low but I’m not really in it for the money (although some extra cash wouldn’t be bad!). It would be great for the experience so I could even try to teach at my own school in the future, or other schools. I’d love to have low brass tech on my resume. Also this could potentially get me out there on the market for private tuba teaching! Yay for having contacts in the music world!

So today was band and guard awards for my high school

It was very different being on the other side, not expecting to get an award, not expecting an emotional reaction when all the seniors went up and our director said all the great things about them. It was an interesting experience, I’m joyful and sad to see my friends who are about to graduate, they made it to that point where they are deciding things that will affect them for the rest of their lives.

It’s also interesting to see what has changed since I was practically gone a whole school year. She’s dating him, and he broke up with her. Found out that my first girlfriend is dating some guy in her section (bad choice! never date within your section!)

It’s nice to see everyone again, and also it sucks cause of all these couples I’m seeing cause I’m like…I go to college! Forever alone! Eh, Just one of those points in my mood where I’m down about being single, I’ll get over it.

I was invited to go drinking tonight with some friends, kinda wish I had gone, but Legend of Korra is on tomorrow, and I don’t want to miss it. Is it sad I chose geekiness over drinking?! lol LoK, you better have a good new episode airing tomorrow!
